Situated at Taman Kaya, Kuala Lumpur, this new bungalow was designed for a growing family of four with their tastes in mind. We propose a double facade with the aesthetic of a contemporary villa, inserting an architectural floating glass detail down the center.

Three architectural blocks are arranged around each other and an internal tree courtyard to provide daylight into the internal spaces. The master bed unit is tucked away at rear for privacy, adjoined with its personal walk-in-wardrobe and bath.

Upon entry a corridor squeezes the resident’s journey into a large open living / kitchen concept with a stairway overlooking the courtyard. Service areas such as laundry room and wet kitchen are tucked away at rear. Textural stone finishes were selected to accent selected walls and floor zones — creating a clean, tasteful architectural base for future carpentry work.
